Dear All,
For the record, and it is a very solemn and serious record, I, Eshvarhen Devandran, aged 4, have hit the 1m mark today.
Therefore, I have officially graduated to the " allowed to climb monkey bars and hang on the staircase" category.
As we speak, I am discussion my options with brother, co-conspirator and chief, Annai.
Over and out ( and hanging everyWHERE!) ,
Eshvarhen

Ponggal & Sparklers
Dear Appa,
Thank you for allowing me to play "MataPu". We played it during Deepavali last year too. But this morning, while we waited for the Pukkai Saatham to cook, we had great fun playing the sparklers.....in our PJs....hehehe
*Yawn*.....maybe we can do it again when Bagyashri is a little older and isn't so afraid of the fire.
*Sigh* *Yawn* ....and now kill-joy Amma is has dressed us in school uniform and we have to go to school. *SIGH**
I love you, Appa.Going to school now, bye.

Eshvarhen goes to School!
Dear Pandai,
You went to school today, son! And you didn't even turn around to say "bye" to your Amma. I could see she was every bit a suprised as I was.
You rock, son. And you're growing up very fast now......

The Little Chef
Dear Eshvarhen,
You're a great help in the kitchen. It's a delight when I want to fry something to have you quickly line the plate for me with kitchen paper or to pour tomato sauce and make ready to have fries and sausages.
I hear it delights your Mina Patti even more when you help her to make candy or to prepare ALL the utensils for her to make "thothatchi".
Perhaps you could become a chef when you grow up..........

Mandarin Class
Dear Eshvarhen,
It was great fun having you with me at the Mandarin tuition ( we'll be going for the next whole month because it's school holidays).
The best part about the class, and I think you WILL agree, is the end of it when Teacher Ting gives us both sweets.
The problem is, we needed to eat it before going home or we would have a fight with Bagyashri.
No worries, Thambi, I think we can swallow the sweets next time in the car, VERY quickly.
Your partner,
Annai

Edu Ezhuthu
Dear All,
I wrote on rice today, and afterwards, the priest wrote the character "Aum" on my tongue. It's supposed to signify that I will be begining my formal education soon.
Hmmmmm......now I wonder what "formal education" means. Must remember to ask Amma later.
Anyway, Annai and I managed to take a shot of ourselves, and then Annai took a picture of the tray that we gave to the priest as "Guru Thatchanai".

*sigh* ......it's easy to eaves drop and pick up these long grown-up words, but sometimes these long words give me a headache.
I think I will just stick to screaming "PatiKaya" and "Vettaikaan" at randomly and suddenly for now....
