Hope you enjoyed the PLANES movie, though you and I both know we didn't get much quiet due to you-know-who-asking non-related questions are the quietest moments in the cinema. We have to do something about her, son!

You Amma said the Olaf was your idea. It's a good one if I may say so myself!

Mrs Kuna comes running out as I drop Eshvarhen off at school.

Mrs Kuna: Sister, yesterday we learnt how to spell MADU in school.

Myself: (wondering where this is leading) Ahh....good teacher.

Mrs Kuna: So after spelling I ask the class what MADU means.....

Myself : Ah ha.....honey lah

Mrs Kuna: Your son said : " Teacher MADUlah.....you don't know ah? ! Cow lah!"

Myself : ( laughing in spite of my horrification ) hahahaha

Mrs Kuna : (while beaming with pride) He's really very clever.

Sigh * I rest my case.*

Appa and Amma sent em to Taekwondo class today. I tried to explain to Amma that I don't want to go, and I promised to stop punching Appa......but she wouldn't listen.

Anyways, the Master was kind and he encouraged me.....and I guess at the end of it all, Taekwondo is not TOO bad....


So here goes my Sunday mornings.....it's Taekwondo time.


No sparring for me please, I am a gentle soul.

Hand Foot Mouth

Dear Eshvarhen,

You were diagnosed with Hand Foot Mouth on 10.01.2014.....and then you spread the infection to Bagyashri on 12.01.2014 and then Sakkti Velan on 13.01.2014. This year Ponggal no one dared come to the house for fear of an infection. Sakkti Velan missed 5 days of school, and I had to disinfect the whole house to ensure people who visited after the pandemic won't be infected.

I suppose the bright side is I don't have to worry that the three of you will pick it up again. The down side is, all of you refused to eat for almost 3 days...and that gave me the creeps. Eshvarhen even cut down on his milk..!

Today, all you toe nails fell off. This is an expected side effect of the disease, but it still freaked me out.

Bagyashri's symptoms were worse, thus her fingernails AND toenails ALL fell off. 

Luckily for Annai, we managed to save his toenails and fingernails.

Just thought I'd make this entry to remind myself that sometimes, there is NO precaution that can prevent a little pandemic that is just mean to happen.....

Eshvarhen learns Thevaram

Dear All,

Amma sent me for Thevaram class today.

I will spend the next few classes laughing, licking the chairs and flirting with the older girls until I finally settle down sometime during the 4th or 5th class.

Soon I will be joining a Thevaram potti......
